In Saturday's league outing, the host Milledgeville Missiles softball team scored a nice 16-6 win over the Forreston Cardinals.
Coming up next, the Missiles battle the Ashton-Franklin Center Raiders (Ashton, IL) in a NUIC South outing, on Monday, May 6. Milledgeville will attempt to upgrade on its 8-9 season record. The Raiders enter the outing with a 3-19 record after their 13-0 non-league loss to Dixon (Dixon, IL).
The Cardinals (7-15) will now prepare for their outing against Galena (Galena, IL). The Pirates enter the non-league outing with a 11-7 record. In their last outing, Galena ran past East Dubuque (East Dubuque, IL), 3-2, in a league outing.
