The Hopewell-Loudon Chieftains the visiting New Riegel Blue Jackets softball squad by a final score of 9-5 in Saturday's league battle.

The Chieftains (18-4) will now prepare for their battle against St. Joseph Central Catholic (Fremont, OH). The Crimson Streaks go into the Sandusky Bay - River battle with a 9-7 record.

The Blue Jackets now possess a 20-3 record. They play next when they travel to Lakota for a Sandusky Bay - River battle on Monday, May 6. New Riegel will meet a Raiders squad coming off a 4-1 league loss to Calvert (Tiffin, OH). The Raiders record now stands at 6-13.
