Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Logansport Berries (Logansport, IN) and the visiting South Bend St. Joseph Huskies (South Bend, IN), witnessed Logansport's softball squad tip South Bend St. Joseph by a count of 6-5.
The Berries now sport a 17-5 record. They play next when they travel to Huntington North for a non-league match on Tuesday, May 7.
With the loss, South Bend St. Joseph moves to 17-3 on the season. The Huskies travel to Penn (Mishawaka, IN) to meet the Kingsmen in a Northern Indiana match on Monday, May 6. The Kingsmen go into the match with a record of 16-6. Penn lost 7-2 in their recent non-league match against Crown Point (Crown Point, IN)
