Wheaton-Warrenville South Tigers (Wheaton, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Plainfield South Cougars (Plainfield, IL), 4-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 16-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Charles North for a DuKane challenge on Monday, May 6. Wheaton-Warrenville South will battle a North Stars squad coming off a 16-1 non-league win over Kaneland (Maple Park, IL). The North Stars record now stands at 15-3.

With the loss, Plainfield South drops to 10-14 on the year. The Cougars travel to Romeoville (Romeoville, IL) to clash with the Spartans in a Suburban Prairie - South game on Monday, May 6. The Spartans come into the game with a record of 3-14. Romeoville lost 6-2 in their recent league game against Yorkville (Yorkville, IL)
