The St. Johnsbury Academy Hilltoppers softball team scored 16 runs and limited the host Spaulding Crimson Tide to 12 in the Hilltoppers league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, St. Johnsbury Academy improves its record to 4-1 on the year. The Hilltoppers host Colchester (Colchester, VT) to clash with the Lakers in a Metro game on Tuesday, May 7. The Lakers come into the game with a record of 4-1. Colchester lost 4-1 in their recent league game against Missisquoi Valley (Swanton, VT)

In their next game, the Crimson Tide clash with the Lyndon Institute Vikings (Lyndon Center, VT) in a game, on Monday, May 6. Spaulding will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Vikings come into the game with a 4-3 record after their 12-0 non-league loss to Mount Anthony (Bennington, VT).
