California High School Baseball - Burney loses to Chester

May 4, 2026: Burney, CA 96013

The Burney Raiders baseball squad (Burney, CA), was overwhelmed 14-5 in Monday's league contest with the visiting Chester Volcanoes (Chester, CA)

With the triumph, Chester moves its record to 6-8 on the season. The Volcanoes host Los Molinos (Los Molinos, CA) to confront the Bulldogs in a Five Star contest on Tuesday, May 5. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a record of 17-5. Los Molinos won 3-2 in their recent league contest against Redding Christian (Palo Cedro, CA)

The Raiders now possess a 4-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Redding Christian for a Five Star contest on Tuesday, May 5. Burney will confront a Lions squad coming off a 10-0 league win over Chester (Chester, CA). The Lions record now stands at 8-9.
