Fans at Monday's league battle between the Radford Bobcats (Radford, VA) and the host Patrick County Cougars (Stuart, VA), saw Radford's soccer squad triumph over Patrick County by a count of 6-1.

The Bobcats (6-4) will now prepare for their battle against Giles (Pearisburg, VA). The Spartans enter the non-league battle with a 6-9 record. In their last battle, Giles was overwhelmed by George Wythe (Wytheville, VA), 3-2, in a league battle.

Next up, the Cougars battle the Martinsville Bulldogs (Martinsville, VA) in a Three Rivers battle, on Thursday, May 7. Patrick County will attempt to upgrade on its 2-10 season record. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a 2-8 record after their 8-1 non-league loss to Magna Vista (Ridgeway, VA).
