The Southern Tornadoes softball team scored 22 runs and held the visiting Belpre Golden Eagles to 0 in the Tornadoes league win on Monday.

The Tornadoes now sport a 15-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jackson for a non-league battle on Wednesday, May 6. Southern will confront a Ironman/Ironladies team coming off a 7-5 league loss to Chillicothe (Chillicothe, OH). The Ironman/Ironladies record now stands at 18-6.

With the loss, Belpre moves to 1-19 on the season. The Golden eagles host Waterford (Waterford, OH) to confront the Wildcats in a Tri-Valley - Hocking battle on Tuesday, May 5. The Wildcats come into the battle with a record of 3-17. Waterford lost 5-4 in their recent non-league battle against Fort Frye (Beverly, OH)
