The crowd at Monday's league bout between the East Side Red Raiders (Newark, NJ) and the host Tech Panthers (Newark, NJ), observed East Side's softball team prevail over Tech by a tally of 16-3.

The Red Raiders (5-5) will now prepare for their bout against Newark Tech (Newark, NJ). The Terries go into the SEC - Colonial bout with a 6-9 record. In their last bout, Newark Tech knocked off Weequahic (Newark, NJ), 20-2, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Panthers clash with the West Caldwell Tech Eagles (West Caldwell, NJ) in a SEC - Colonial bout, on Wednesday, May 6. Tech will attempt to advance on its 2-10 season record.
