Ohio High School Softball - Monroe Central sneaks past Frontier

The Monroe Central Seminoles (Woodsfield, OH) softball nipped the visiting Frontier Cougars (New Matamoras, OH), 5-4 in Monday's non-league outing.

The Seminoles now sport a 18-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Meadowbrook for a non-league outing on Tuesday, May 5. Monroe Central will encounter a Colts team coming off a 13-2 non-league win over Cambridge (Cambridge, OH). The Colts record now stands at 16-6.

With the loss, Frontier moves to 10-14 on the season. The Cougars host Federal Hocking (Stewart, OH) to encounter the Lancers in a non-league outing on Wednesday, May 6.
