Washington High School Softball - Rainier drops to Napavine

Napavine Tigers (Napavine, WA) supporters left the game thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad topple the visiting Rainier Mountaineers (Rainier, WA), 15-1 in a league game.

With the triumph, Napavine improves its record to 15-2 on the year. The Tigers travel to Mossyrock (Mossyrock, WA) to face the Vikings in a 2B Central game on Thursday, May 7. The Vikings enter the game with a record of 7-9. Mossyrock won 8-0 in their recent league game against Onalaska (Onalaska, WA)

The Mountaineers now hold a 8-8 record. They play next when they host Tenino for a non-league game on Tuesday, May 5. Rainier will face a Beavers squad coming off a 16-7 non-league win over Castle Rock (Castle Rock, WA). The Beavers record now stands at 7-12.
