New York High School Softball - Southwestern drops to Olean

The Southwestern Trojans softball squad (Jamestown, NY), was routed 10-1 in Monday's league contest with the host Olean Huskies (Olean, NY)

With the triumph, Olean improves its record to 7-4 on the year. The Huskies host Fredonia (Fredonia, NY) to face the Hillbillies in a Chautaqua / Cattaragus I West contest on Wednesday, May 6. The Hillbillies enter the contest with a record of 6-1.

The Trojans now hold a 4-8 record. They play next when they host Allegany-Limestone for a Chautaqua / Cattaragus I West contest on Thursday, May 7. Southwestern will face a Gators squad coming off a 16-3 league win over Jamestown (Jamestown, NY). The Gators record now stands at 11-1.
