The Mead Panthers held off the host Ferris Saxons soccer squad by a margin of 1-0 in Wednesday's league match.
The Panthers now sport a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to University for a 3A/4A Greater Spokane match on Monday, May 10. Mead will encounter a Titans squad coming off a 8-0 league loss to Lewis & Clark (Spokane, WA). The Titans record now stands at 1-7.
With the loss, Ferris drops to 2-6 on the season. The Saxons travel to Gonzaga Prep (Spokane, WA) to encounter the Bullpups in a 3A/4A Greater Spokane match on Monday, May 10.
