Northridge Polar Bears (Dayton, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Oakwood Lumberjacks (Dayton, OH), 11-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Polar Bears now own a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they host Greeneview for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 6. Northridge will battle a Rams squad coming off a 5-2 league loss to Madison Plains (London, OH). The Rams record now stands at 7-11.

With the loss, Oakwood falls to 0-7 on the campaign. The Lumberjacks host Eaton (Eaton, OH) to battle the Eagles in a Southwestern Buckeye - Southwestern challenge on Thursday, May 6. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 7-3. Eaton lost 8-7 in their recent non-league challenge against National Trail (New Paris, OH)
