The Buckingham Knights baseball team scored 3 runs and limited the host Randolph-Henry Statesmen to 1 in the Knights league victory on Thursday.
The Knights (6-3) will now prepare for their match against Nottoway (Nottoway, VA). The Cougars go into the James River match with a 8-6 record. In their last match, Nottoway tipped Amelia County (Amelia Court House, VA), 6-5, in a league match.
The Statesmen (11-5) will now prepare for their match against Bluestone (Skipwith, VA). The Barons go into the James River match with a 2-9 record.
