The Grant Community Bulldogs (Fox Lake, IL) baseball nipped the visiting Grayslake North Knights (Grayslake, IL), 2-1 in Thursday's league contest.

Coming up next, the Bulldogs encounter the Lakes Eagles (Lake Villa, IL) in a Northern Lake County contest, on Tuesday, May 10. Grant Community will attempt to better on its 13-11 season record. The Eagles come into the contest with a 9-11 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Warren Township (Gurnee, IL).

The Knights now sport a 9-12 record. They play next when they travel to Libertyville for a non-league contest on Saturday, May 7. Grayslake North will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 7-0 league win over Zion-Benton (Zion, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 19-6.
