In Thursday's league game, the host Lyman Memorial Bulldogs baseball team scored a tight 10-7 victory over the St. Bernard Saints.
The Bulldogs (11-3) will now prepare for their game against Putnam (Putnam, CT). The Clippers go into the Eastern Connecticut - Division IV game with a 2-11 record. In their last game, Putnam by Bacon Academy (Colchester, CT), 12-0, in a non-league game.
The Saints (6-6) will now prepare for their game against Old Saybrook (Old Saybrook, CT). The Rams go into the non-league game with a 10-3 record. In their last game, Old Saybrook tipped Portland (Portland, CT), 15-7, in a league game.
