Spectators at Thursday's league battle between the Red Jacket Indians (Shortsville, NY) and the visiting Naples Big Green Machines (Naples, NY), saw Red Jacket's baseball squad knock off Naples by a count of 16-12.

Coming up next, the Indians play the Palmyra-Macedon Red Raiders (Palmyra, NY) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, May 7. Red Jacket will attempt to move on its 4-1 season record. The Red Raiders enter the battle with a 11-0 record after their 5-1 league win over Geneva (Geneva, NY).

The Big Green Machines now possess a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they host Harley Allendale Columbia for a Section 5 Finger Lakes - West battle on Friday, May 6.
