Oceanside Mariners (Rockland, ME) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Winslow Black Raiders (Winslow, ME), 4-3 in a league test.

With the win, Oceanside upgrades its record to 2-4 on the season. The Mariners travel to Lincoln Academy (Newcastle, ME) to battle the Eagles in a non-league test on Monday, May 9. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 1-4.

With the defeat, Winslow falls to 1-6 on the season. The Black raiders host Waterville (Waterville, ME) to battle the Panthers in a Class B North test on Friday, May 6. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 3-4. Waterville lost 5-1 in their recent non-league test against Maranacook (Readfield, ME)
