Lima Senior Spartans (Lima, OH) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the host Newark Wildcats (Newark, OH), 14-8 in a non-league battle.

The Spartans now have a 7-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Findlay for a battle on Wednesday, May 11.

In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Granville Blue Aces (Granville, OH) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, May 7. Newark will attempt to move on its 0-5 season record. The Blue Aces come into the battle with a 7-7 record after their 14-10 non-league win over Olentangy (Lewis Center, OH).
