The crowd at Thursday's league test between the Halifax County Comets (South Boston, VA) and the host Martinsville Bulldogs (Martinsville, VA), saw Halifax County's soccer squad beat Martinsville by a count of 4-0.

The Comets now hold a 10-2 record. They play next when they travel to Tunstall for a Piedmont test on Monday, May 9. Halifax County will meet a Trojans squad coming off a 4-1 league loss to Magna Vista (Ridgeway, VA). The Trojans record now stands at 5-7.

With the loss, Martinsville drops to 3-12 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Tunstall (Dry Fork, VA) to meet the Trojans in a Piedmont test on Tuesday, May 10. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 5-7.
