In Thursday's league battle, the visiting Robinson Bulldogs soccer squad scored a close 1-0 win over the North Stanly Comets.
The Bulldogs (9-6) will now prepare for their battle against West Cabarrus (Concord, NC). The Wolverines go into the non-league battle with a 3-13 record.
The Comets (6-10) will now prepare for their battle against West Stanly (Oakboro, NC). The Colts go into the non-league battle with a 2-11 record. In their last battle, West Stanly was nudged by Monroe (Monroe, NC), 6-2, in a league battle.
