The Gloucester Dukes baseball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Menchville Monarchs to 8 in the Dukes non-league victory on Thursday.
The Dukes (11-0) will now prepare for their match against Warwick (Newport News, VA). The Raiders go into the non-league match with a 10-1 record.
The Monarchs (5-3) will now prepare for their match against Bethel (Hampton, VA). The Bruins go into the non-league match with a 6-7 record. In their last match, Bethel edged Woodside (Newport News, VA), 7-2, in a non-league match.
