Big Walnut Golden Eagles (Sunbury, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Canal Winchester Indians (Canal Winchester, OH), 26-9 in a non-league challenge.
The Golden Eagles now own a 8-2 record. They take the field next when they host Hayes for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 7.
With the loss, Canal Winchester falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Westerville North (Westerville, OH) to battle the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 9. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 2-0.
