The Jackson Polar Bears softball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Perry Panthers to 2 in the Polar Bears non-league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, Jackson moves its record to 1-1 on the year. The Polar Bears travel to Hoover (North Canton, OH) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league game on Monday, May 9. The Vikings come into the game with a record of 0-0.
In their next game, the Panthers clash with the Marlington Dukes (Alliance, OH) in a non-league game, on Friday, May 6. Perry will attempt to move on its 0-5 season record. The Dukes come into the game with a 4-2 record after their 8-5 non-league loss to Minerva (Minerva, OH).
