Tiverton Tigers (Tiverton, RI) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the host East Providence Townies (East Providence, RI), 14-2 in a league battle.

The Tigers now have a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they host North Smithfield for a Division 4 battle on Monday, May 9. Tiverton will clash with a Northmen squad coming off a 5-3 league win over Smithfield (Esmond, RI). The Northmen record now stands at 8-2.

In their next game, the Townies clash with the Classical Purples (Providence, RI) in a Division 4 battle, on Monday, May 9. East Providence will attempt to move on its 1-7 season record. The Purples come into the battle with a 1-6 record after their 6-3 league loss to Cranston East (Cranston, RI).
