In Thursday's league test, the visiting Wheeler Warriors lacrosse squad scored a tight 7-4 victory over the Ponaganset Chieftains.

The Warriors now have a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cranston West for a Division 3 battle on Saturday, May 7. Wheeler will clash with a Falcons squad coming off a 10-7 league loss to Narragansett (Narragansett, RI). The Falcons record now stands at 4-5.

In their next game, the Chieftains clash with the Burrillville Broncos (Harrisville, RI) in a Division 3 battle, on Monday, May 9. Ponaganset will attempt to move on its 2-5 season record. The Broncos come into the battle with a 4-5 record after their 7-5 league loss to Lincoln (Lincoln, RI).
