In Thursday's league contest, the Adena Warriors (Frankfort, OH) softball team held off the visiting Unioto Shermans (Chillicothe, OH), by a margin of 10-9.

With the triumph, Adena moves its record to 13-1 on the year. The Warriors travel to Westfall (Williamsport, OH) to play the Mustangs in a Scioto Valley contest on Monday, May 9. The Mustangs come into the contest with a record of 9-2.

In their next game, the Shermans play the Huntington Huntsmen (Chillicothe, OH) in a Scioto Valley contest, on Friday, May 6. Unioto will attempt to move on its 17-2 season record. The Huntsmen come into the contest with a 2-9 record after their 6-4 league win over Piketon (Piketon, OH).
