Sullivan County Griffins (Laporte, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Benton Tigers (Benton, PA), 18-2 in a league challenge.

The Griffins now sport a 4-6 record. They take the field next when they host Millville for a Mid-Penn D4 challenge on Tuesday, May 10. Sullivan County will face a Quakers squad coming off a 13-3 league loss to Bucktail (Farwell, PA). The Quakers record now stands at 6-8.

With the loss, Benton falls to 0-10 on the campaign. The Tigers host Millville (Millville, PA) to face the Quakers in a Mid-Penn D4 challenge on Thursday, May 12. The Quakers enter the challenge with a record of 7-8. Millville won 9-8 in their recent league challenge against Sullivan County (Laporte, PA)
