In Thursday's league contest, the St. Mary's Spartans (Lynn, MA) softball team overwhelmed the host Bishop Fenwick Crusaders (Peabody, MA), by a margin of 6-1.
With the triumph, St. Mary's moves its record to 9-3 on the year. The Spartans travel to Newton South (Newton, MA) to play the Lions in a non-league contest on Friday, May 6. The Lions come into the contest with a record of 5-4. Newton South won 17-5 in their recent non-league contest against Waltham (Waltham, MA)
In their next game, the Crusaders play the Triton Regional Vikings (Byfield, MA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, May 7. Bishop Fenwick will attempt to move on its 3-5 season record.
