Snohomish Panthers (Snohomish, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Cascade Bruins (Everett, WA), 9-3 in a league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 11-2 record. They take the field next when they host Archbishop Murphy for a 2A/3A Wesco challenge on Friday, May 6. Snohomish will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 12-1 league loss to Arlington (Arlington, WA). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-11.

With the loss, Cascade falls to 12-4 on the campaign. The Bruins travel to Everett (Everett, WA) to battle the Seagulls in a 2A/3A Wesco challenge on Monday, May 9. The Seagulls enter the challenge with a record of 13-2. Everett lost 193-2 in their recent league challenge against Monroe (Monroe, WA)
