The Cedarcrest Red Wolves softball team scored 6 runs and limited the host Stanwood Spartans to 4 in the Red Wolves league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Cedarcrest improves its record to 7-9 on the year. The Red Wolves host Edmonds-Woodway (Edmonds, WA) to clash with the Warriors in a 2A/3A Wesco game on Monday, May 9. The Warriors come into the game with a record of 1-16. Edmonds-Woodway lost 19-8 in their recent league game against Meadowdale (Lynnwood, WA)

In their next game, the Spartans clash with the Marysville-Pilchuck Tomahawks (Marysville, WA) in a 2A/3A Wesco game, on Monday, May 9. Stanwood will attempt to improve on its 4-9 season record. The Tomahawks come into the game with a 6-11 record after their 7-1 league loss to Shorewood (Shoreline, WA).
