In Thursday's non-league contest, the Thunder Basin Bolts (Gillette, WY) softball team overwhelmed the host South Bison (Cheyenne, WY), by a margin of 29-1.
With the triumph, Thunder Basin moves its record to 19-2 on the year. The Bolts travel to Laramie (Laramie, WY) to play the Plainsmen in a 4A East contest on Friday, May 6. The Plainsmen come into the contest with a record of 9-7. Laramie won 9-8 in their recent non-league contest against Campbell County (Gillette, WY)
In their next game, the Bison play the Campbell County Camels (Gillette, WY) in a 4A East contest, on Friday, May 6. South will attempt to move on its 0-11 season record. The Camels come into the contest with a 14-7 record after their 9-8 non-league loss to Laramie (Laramie, WY).
