The Coldwater Cardinals routed the visiting Olivet Eagles softball squad by a final score of 17-2 in Thursday's non-league battle.
The Cardinals (12-2) will now prepare for their battle against Portage Northern (Portage, MI). The Huskies go into the non-league battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, Portage Northern notched a victory over Niles (Niles, MI), 11-5, in a league battle.
The Eagles now possess a 0-5 record. They play next when they host Charlotte for a Capital Area - White battle on Friday, May 6.
