Spectators at Thursday's league match between the River View Black Bears (Warsaw, OH) and the visiting Coshocton Redskins (Coshocton, OH), witnessed River View's softball squad tip Coshocton by a count of 6-2.

The Black Bears now sport a 4-11 record. They play next when they host Meadowbrook for a Muskingum Valley match on Tuesday, May 10. River View will face a Colts squad coming off a 11-0 league loss to John Glenn (New Concord, OH). The Colts record now stands at 1-11.

With the loss, Coshocton moves to 1-9 on the season. The Redskins travel to Tri-Valley (Dresden, OH) to face the Scotties in a Muskingum Valley match on Tuesday, May 10. The Scotties go into the match with a record of 14-4. Tri-Valley won 6-0 in their recent league match against West Muskingum (Zanesville, OH)
