The New Riegel Blue Jackets softball team scored 10 runs and limited the host Danbury Lakers to 9 in the Blue Jackets league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, New Riegel moves its record to 15-8 on the year. The Blue Jackets host Hopewell-Loudon (Bascom, OH) to clash with the Chieftains in a Sandusky Bay - River game on Monday, May 9. The Chieftains come into the game with a record of 16-1. Hopewell-Loudon won 7-6 in their recent league game against Calvert (Tiffin, OH)

In their next game, the Lakers clash with the St. Paul Flyers (Norwalk, OH) in a non-league game, on Saturday, May 7. Danbury will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record. The Flyers come into the game with a 2-15 record after their 22-4 non-league win over St. Mary Central Catholic (Sandusky, OH).
