Spectators at Thursday's non-league match between the Dartmouth Indians (South Dartmouth, MA) and the host New Bedford Whalers (New Bedford, MA), witnessed Dartmouth's softball squad tip New Bedford by a count of 7-1.

The Indians now sport a 4-5 record. They play next when they host Bishop Stang for a non-league match on Friday, May 6.

With the loss, New Bedford moves to 7-4 on the season. The Whalers travel to Barnstable (Hyannis, MA) to face the Red Hawks in a non-league match on Monday, May 9. The Red Hawks go into the match with a record of 0-7.
