The Geneva Panthers (Geneva, AL) softball routed the visiting Straughn Tigers (Andalusia, AL), 10-0 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Panthers (25-10) will now prepare for their bout against Dale County (Midland City, AL). The Warriors go into the non-league bout with a 20-14 record. In their last bout, Dale County was routed by Wicksburg (Newton, AL), 9-4, in a non-league bout.
The Tigers now possess a 2-16 record. They play next when they travel to Ashford for a non-league bout on Thursday, May 5. Straughn will confront a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 9-5 non-league loss to Rehobeth (Dothan, AL). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 9-10.
