Pennsylvania High School Softball - Ligonier Valley nudges Greater Latrobe

Ligonier Valley Rams (Ligonier, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Greater Latrobe Wildcats (Latrobe, PA), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Rams now own a 8-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Apollo Ridge for a WPIAL 2A 2 challenge on Monday, May 9.
With the loss, Greater Latrobe falls to 5-4 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Pine-Richland (Gibsonia, PA) to face the Rams in a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 7. The Rams enter the challenge with a record of 6-2.
