Huntingtown Hurricanes (Huntingtown, MD) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Patuxent Panthers (Lusby, MD), 13-0 in a league challenge.

The Hurricanes now own a 13-5 record.

With the loss, Patuxent falls to 7-10 on the campaign. The Panthers host Stone (Waldorf, MD) to battle the Cougars in a Southern Maryland challenge on Wednesday, May 11. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 1-14.
