The West Shores Wildcats got by the host Julian Eagles softball squad by a count of 1-0 in Thursday's league battle.

The Wildcats (2-9) will now prepare for their battle against Warner (Warner Springs, CA). The Wildcats go into the Manzanita battle with a 0-5 record. In their last bout, Warner was edged by Chula Vista Learning Community Charter (San Diego, CA), 1-0, in a non-league bout.

The Eagles now possess a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Borrego Springs for a Manzanita bout on Tuesday, May 10. Julian will confront a Rams squad coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Vincent Memorial (Calexico, CA). The Rams record now stands at 8-5.
