The West Point Pointers softball team scored 1 runs and limited the visiting King & Queen Central Royal Tigers to 0 in the Pointers league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, West Point moves its record to 4-11 on the year. The Pointers travel to Washington & Lee (Montross, VA) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league battle on Monday, May 9. The Eagles go into the battle with a record of 1-10. Washington & Lee lost 16-4 in their recent league battle against Northumberland (Heathsville, VA)
