West Washington Senators (Campbellsburg, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Lanesville Eagles (Lanesville, IN), 13-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Senators now own a 12-3 record. They take the field next when they host Mitchell for a Patoka Lake challenge on Monday, May 9. West Washington will battle a Bluejackets squad coming off a 9-1 league win over Orleans (Orleans, IN). The Bluejackets record now stands at 10-8.

With the loss, Lanesville falls to 8-5 on the campaign. The Eagles host Scottsburg (Scottsburg, IN) to battle the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 6. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 14-2. Scottsburg lost 5-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Jeffersonville (Jeffersonville, IN)
