Las Lomas Knights (Walnut Creek, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Miramonte Matadors (Orinda, CA), 21-1 in a league challenge.

The Knights now own a 12-6 record. They take the field next when they host Mt. Diablo for a Diablo - Valley challenge on Tuesday, May 10. Las Lomas will battle a Red Devils squad coming off a 16-4 league loss to Acalanes (Lafayette, CA). The Red Devils record now stands at 2-6.

With the loss, Miramonte falls to 1-11 on the campaign. The Matadors host Ygnacio Valley (Concord, CA) to battle the Wolves in a Diablo - Valley challenge on Tuesday, May 10. The Wolves enter the challenge with a record of 5-11. Ygnacio Valley lost 14-2 in their recent league challenge against Campolindo (Moraga, CA)
