Neshannock Lancers (New Castle, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Riverside Panthers (Ellwood City, PA), 7-0 in a league challenge.

The Lancers now own a 15-0 record. They take the field next when they host Lincoln for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 9. Neshannock will battle a Wolverine squad coming off a 10-0 league win over Beaver Falls (Beaver Falls, PA). The Wolverine record now stands at 10-2.

With the loss, Riverside falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Hopewell (Aliquippa, PA) to battle the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 10. The Vikings enter the challenge with a record of 3-7.
