In Thursday's non-league contest, the Wahconah Regional Warriors (Dalton, MA) softball team held off the host Turners Falls Thunder (Montague, MA), by a margin of 1-0.
With the triumph, Wahconah Regional moves its record to 11-1 on the year. The Warriors host Monson (Monson, MA) to play the Mustangs in a non-league contest on Saturday, May 7. The Mustangs come into the contest with a record of 5-0.
In their next game, the Thunder play the Pioneer Valley Regional Panthers (Northfield, MA) in a PVIAC - Franklin contest, on Monday, May 9. Turners Falls will attempt to move on its 7-5 season record.
