In Friday's league game, the host Alexander Spartans baseball team scored a tight 5-1 victory over the Meigs Marauders.
The Spartans (7-11) will now prepare for their game against Logan Elm (Circleville, OH). The Braves go into the non-league game with a 3-17 record.
The Marauders (12-5) will now prepare for their game against Warren (Vincent, OH). The Warriors go into the non-league game with a 11-9 record. In their last game, Warren tipped Eastern (Reedsville, OH), 4-3, in a non-league game.
