In Friday's league game, the visiting Deer Lakes Lancers baseball team scored a tight 8-6 victory over the Burrell Bucs.
The Lancers (3-13) will now prepare for their game against Valley (New Kensington, PA). The Vikings go into the WPIAL 3A 3 game with a 7-10 record. In their last game, Valley tipped Derry (Derry, PA), 12-5, in a league game.
The Bucs (6-11) will now prepare for their game against Deer Lakes (Russellton, PA). The Lancers go into the WPIAL 3A 3 game with a 3-13 record.
