Pennsylvania High School Baseball - Germantown Academy loses to Malvern Prep

The Malvern Prep Friars baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the host Germantown Academy Patriots to 4 in the Friars league victory on Friday.
The Friars (20-4) will now prepare for their match against William Penn Charter (Philadelphia, PA). The Quakers go into the PAISAA match with a 8-4 record. In their last match, William Penn Charter was overwhelmed by Archbishop Carroll (Radnor, PA), 7-5, in a non-league challenge.
With the defeat, Germantown Academy falls to 4-4 on the season. The Patriots host Conestoga (Berwyn, PA) to encounter the Pioneers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 6. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a record of 5-9. Conestoga lost 11-4 in their recent league challenge against Lower Merion (Ardmore, PA)
