The Hononegah Indians baseball team scored 23 runs and limited the host Jefferson J-Hawks to 2 in the Indians league victory on Friday.
The Indians (18-5) will now prepare for their match against Forreston (Forreston, IL). The Cardinals go into the non-league match with a 16-9 record. In their last match, Forreston ran past Ashton-Franklin Center (Ashton, IL), 10-5, in a non-league match.
The J-Hawks (1-13) will now prepare for their match against Belvidere North (Belvidere, IL). The Blue Thunder go into the Northern Illinois match with a 7-10 record. In their last match, Belvidere North ran past Rockford Auburn (Rockford, IL), 8-1, in a league match.
